PALO SECO PROTECTOR FOREST

Created to be a conservation corridor linking Fortuna Forest Reserve and La Amistad International Park, the Palo Seco Protector Forest, with an area estimated on 167.410 hectares, is located in the province of Bocas del Toro. In the region there are important watersheds, such as of the rivers Changuinola, Chico, Chiriqui, Chiriqui Viejo, Cricamola and Fonseca. These rivers are among the largest in the country.
