THE HANDICRAFTS OF THE NGOBE INDIANS

The women of the ngobe indians use the fiber that
they stract from a plant, the pita, and
vegetal colours to create beautiful bags, called "chacaras" or "mochilas".
They also create, with trends and colour plastic
counts, collars and braceletes, colled "chaquiras"

Their dresses, made using their own designs,
are very colourful and also sold to the tourists
as a souvenir.
