Leaving from Bocas del Toro town, the boat travels to the north entering between the south coast of
Bastimentos Island and the north coast of Solarte Cay and navigating almost to the end of this bay,
reaching, on the left side, the restaurant of the community with the same name:
Bahia Honda (Deep Bay).
There you contact the people incharged of the tours and arrange all the details of your journey with
them: the travel to trek the Sloth Trail,
the time for the lunch and the observation of their traditional handicrafts.
If you want to have a very good day try all: the tour, the meals and the culture, you would be very
satisfied with this experience.
Recomended: it is one of the most rewarding trails of Bocas del Toro, so pay attention
during the trip and avoid conversations to feel better the place. You donīt need special shoes to do it
because most of the trail is in plain terrain. At the restaurant buy their beautiful handicrafts.
Donīt miss their lunch, it is simple but tasteful.

Red Frog Beach or snorkelling at
Hospital Point.
